An AI interviewer for every applicant

Jobs Mili is a hiring platform. Companies post roles, candidates apply with one profile, and an AI interviewer holds a spoken first-round interview with each of them. The hiring team gets a ranked shortlist with a score, the evidence behind it, and the full transcript.

How it works

One platform, both sides of the first round

For companies

Post a role, get a ranked shortlist

  1. Post a role

Set the skills, the requirements and the score a candidate needs to pass. Invite your team to review alongside you.

  2. Every applicant is interviewed

Each candidate gets a spoken interview with questions built from your job and from their own experience. No scheduling on your side.

  3. Review a ranked shortlist

Every answer is scored against a skill from your posting, with the reasoning and the transcript beside it. Shortlist or reject in one click.

Post a job

For candidates

Apply once, interview when you are ready

  1. Find a role

Browse open roles across companies, with the pay, the skills they want, and what happens after you apply.

  2. Apply with one profile

Fill in your profile once. Every application after the first takes seconds.

  3. Interview on your schedule

A spoken conversation in your browser on a laptop or desktop, whenever suits you, with simple full-screen and camera checks, and a still picture every 30 seconds for the hiring team. Track every application in one place.

What the hiring team gets

A score you can check, not just trust

Each question is tied to a skill from the job posting. Every score comes with the reason it was given, and the full transcript sits one tab away, so a recruiter can agree or disagree with the AI in seconds.

  • The pass mark is yours to set, and the AI is never told it, so it cannot drift toward it.
  • Candidates who try to talk the AI into a higher score are flagged, not rewarded.
  • An interview with nothing said in it gets no score, rather than an invented one.

Pass mark 70 · +11 above

The candidate demonstrates solid full-stack experience with clear, specific examples in TypeScript, React, and Node.js, showing strong technical depth, judgment, communication, and ownership. Their main gaps are lighter infrastructure exposure and a somewhat generic approach to incident investigation.

  1. TypeScript

    78

This role leans on TypeScript. Tell me about something you have built with it, and the part that gave you the most trouble.

Described a specific rounding bug in a payments reconciliation service, quantified the failure rate (1 in 4000), explained the root cause (float vs decimal), and added a preventive lint rule.

  2. React

    80

Walk me through a decision you made while working with React that you would make differently now.

Walked through a React data-fetching decision, gave concrete numbers (30 s stale time, 2 s refetch), identified the flawed invalidation strategy, and explained the improved row-level cache update.

  3. Node.js

    78

How would you explain your approach to Node.js to a teammate who is competent but has never used it?

Explained a Node.js CSV export OOM issue, detailed the streaming fix with cursor batches, discovered proxy buffering interference, and articulated the back-pressure lesson.

Example report. The candidate is fictional and the answers come from a practice transcript, but the scores and notes are what Jobs Mili’s evaluator actually wrote about them. Her full report, transcript included, is in the recruiter demo.

Why Jobs Mili

A first round that is fair to candidates and quick for you

  • Every applicant gets heard

Nobody is turned away by keyword matching alone. Anyone who meets the basics gets a real conversation about their work.

  • Scores you can check

Every score points to the question, the answer and the reasoning behind it. Nothing is a black box.

  • The same bar for everyone

Questions adapt to each candidate's experience, but every answer is scored against the same skills from your posting, so candidates are compared fairly.

  • No scheduling

Candidates interview when they are ready, day or night. Your team reviews results when it suits them.

  • Interview checks

Interviews run in full screen with the camera on. Your team sees a still picture of the candidate every 30 seconds, and a note beside the transcript if they leave the tab or full screen, or are not on camera.
